SHE CALLS ME BACK AT 10PM AT NIGHT YELLING AT ME TELLING ME ITS MY FAULT BECAUSE I WENT TO A DIFFERENT NAIL SALON LAST TIME AND WAS 5 MINUTES LATE!!!!!!!!! Instead of apologizing and offering to fix them she raised her voice at me and tried to tell me that she won't fix them because she's "too busy" but the other lady (that messed them up twice) will fix them for me "one last time"!!!!!!!!!!! Like as if I WANTED to be coming back, like she was doing me some amazing favor.
They're amazing! Very friendly, great selections and very clean. I enjoy going there and i choose and recommend them everytime.
So at this point I'm pretty upset so I text Mary and send her a picture of my nails.
Best eye brow waxing I have ever gotten was from these ladies! They take their time, and even massage the waxed area when finished which feels great! The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable with fantastic pedicure chairs, and complimentary drinks. I recommend checking them out!
This is my favorite place to go get my nails done. The staff is friendly, they give you complementary drinks, abd they do an amazing job very quickly! I go here probably once a month for my toes and they always come out perfect! Got them done for prom and they were amazing, and getting them done for graduation was great too!
The other night I called in and asked when MARY herself could do a fill for me. She told me what time to come, and I'll admit I was about 5 minutes late. But she is never done with the person before me by the time I get there anyway, LIKE EVER. So as usual, she was finishing up someones nails and I told her I would happily wait. But this time she pressured me to go with the other lady. I didn't want to, but what do you say in that situation? She was standing right there ushering me back to her spot.
Honestly, the whole thing hurt my feelings. I thought maybe I mattered to her as I was a completely loyal customer for almost half the year. Apparently not.
SAME THING HAPPENED BUT WORSE!!! DAY OF THE SHALLAC CRACKED ON EACH NAIL AND COMPLETELY PEELED OFF!!! (I'm trying to figure out how to upload the picture for you guys)
All in all, Mary is a mean and disrespectful person and now I have to go find somewhere to fix my nails and pay again when I just paid $40 for solar/shellac fill at Passion. I wish I had never given that women a cent of my money.
ALSO, SHE HAS HER YOUNG CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND EVERY DAY WHICH CAN BE SO ANNOYING IF YOU'RE TRYING TO RELAX.
So I let the other lady do my nails. Long story short, she did a horrible job (completely skipped the buffing step; my nail buffer in my kit was untouched) and the shellac cracked within THE HOUR.
I went back the next day to talk to Mary and see if and when she could fix them for me but she wouldn't even be bothered with me, she just shooed me away back to the same lady that did them the day before. She sanded all the polish off and painted them again.
the 1 star isn't for the nails, it's for the way I was treated when I went there. I have been to Passion Nails before and got my nails done by rose. Rose was great and kind and didn't a really good job on my nails. However, this time I called and asked for Mary. I told her I wanted long shellac nails and all she could do was keep repeating the price for me (which wasn't an issue). I had my Vietnamese friend sitting next to me and she told me everything rose was saying to the younger girl. She told her to ring me up in the middle of doing my nails (she didn't, the girl Was clearly young probably a high school student). This wouldn't have been a problem if this wasn't the second time something like this happened here. The first time, I scheduled an appointment and when I came in for the appointment with my friend and another African American fellow, she said they were closed. I'm not quite sure why she has an problem. I've paid every time I've been. It's so sad to see talent wasted due to ignorance.
Let me start by saying Mary does a good job at nails (I guess) and I'm a creature of habit so I had been going to her for almost 6 months. I thought Mary and I had a pretty good relationship. Well I was wrong.
